A Brief History

I became passionate about dentistry as a teenager when my family dentist suggested that I would make a great dentist. I never had that fear of the dentist that most people seemed to have and I always wanted to be in a medical service profession. While working on my undergraduate degree in Biology I explored the option of becoming a Medical Doctor and was even accepted to St. George’s Medical School, Grenada. On completion of my Bachelors in Biology from Andrews University, I took two years off and lived in the United Kingdom and travel some of Europe. While in the UK I worked at Royal Free Hospital and indulged my passion to serve others by volunteering. Eventually, I began missing studying and I came full circle and returned to my first passion of dentistry. I was accepted to the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine and began the dental program in 2003, I graduated in 2008 and have practice in both public and private dental institutions.

A Giving Attitude

I am passionate about serving others and I give of myself selflessly. This characteristic, as well as my faith in God, has followed me into the practice of dentistry where I aim to deliver a patient-centered, pain-free treatment to all my patients. I love taking time to discuss and answer patient’s questions so that myths, taboo’s and misconceptions surrounding the delivery of dental service can be dispelled.

My greatest pleasure is seeing a patient leaving the practice smiling (even following extractions) after they would have entered apprehensive and uncertain.

I still volunteer my services at health fairs, school career days and conduct lectures.
